What is USB Backup?

USB Backup is an automated system to backup your USB disk drives (HDD, pen drives, etc). The program automatically starts when you insert a USB disk drive. It looks for a USB Backup configuration file and if the file is found, the program automatically backs up the files on the USB disk drive to your chosen directory. If the configuration file is not found, it guides the user through creating the configuration file.

How is USB Backup Implemented?

USB Backup is developed using C++ and compiled with Microsoft Visual Studio 2008. It is written using object-oriented constructs. USB Backup is currently under a major rewrite that will allow it to not allow backup from USB flash drives to computers, but the other way around as well.
