AffinityOS and Slexy 2.0

Few updates to talk about this week. I officially finished my work contract last Thursday. So I have just started my first break within the last year, due to being at University. Speaking of University my second year starts on the 24th. This break has allowed me to begin work on the much anticipated Slexy 2.0. I began work on my own framework for PHP called carbonPHP, this has allowed me to speedily develop Slexy 2.0 from the ground up.

Slexy has been greatly improved on in it's newest incarnation. New features include the following.

  • More syntaxes - thanks to the syntax highlighting library GeSHi
  • Public and private pasting - private pastes being hidden from search and recent paste list
  • Paste encryption - don't want people snooping on your pastes, encrypt it using one of many encryption methods
  • Searching - you can now search public pastes
  • And much more

Slexy 2.0 will be available for the people who received beta invites this upcoming Friday, and after all the teething troubles have been ironed out, it will be finally available for the public to use.

AffinityOS another one of my projects has begun being rewritten. The build system has been created and tested on multiple platforms. More information on this will be released soon.
